I've always been a firm believer that at a bare minimum to stay healthy, one should practice clean eating (no refined or processed products, stick to things that grow on trees and lean protein) and engage in a half hour of exercise per day (brisk walking, running, serious deep cleaning housework as long as it involves lugging a vacuum cleaner....). I've put my self-asserted theory to the test as I'm easing back into establishing my fitness foundation.
I'm proud to say, I think I'm right??
Two weeks ago, in the photos on the left, I was 6 weeks postpartum and hadn't really done much in the way of eating clean or working out. Since that day those photos were taken, I haven't missed a T25 workout, and my meals and snacks have been about 90% clean (I'm guilty of some wine glasses, nachos and dip with friends, and a white carb here and there). The photos on the right were taken today, just two weeks in. I do believe with my theoretical two "bare minimum" commitments, there have been some changes in me, notably my tummy area. And less cellulite!! The later miiight be my imagination, but my hammies definitely feel firmer to the touch.

Now, I'm not saying I went from plump-to-supermodel in two weeks, nor would I really want to, but the changes I've noticed with merely improving my food choices and exercising just 25 minutes a day is amazing. I'm always looking for people to join me on the fitness bandwagon/shove healthy habits down their throats, so I post this in the hopes that I can show a nonbeliever what the "bare minimum" can do.
